]]>Indian food in NYC is quite easy to find but some days I just feel like having something at home. I recently tried the Laxmi frozen samosas from the Indian store here and they came out really nice crispy on the outside and soft inside, after just a few minutes in the oven
They made a great evening snack with chai. I was wondering if anyone else here has tried them or found other frozen Indian snacks in NYC that taste good.
]]>Tossed it with hot Laxmi Sona Masoori Rice and a spoon of ghee—quick, spicy, and SO flavorful. You can also mix it with oil if you want to skip ghee.
It reminded me of the podis my neighbor’s grandma used to send over when I was a kid in Hyderabad.
Would love podi recommendations if anyone here makes their own!
